Our policy
Each new and unused Baguette Board comes with TWO years limited warranty, from the purchase date indicated on your receipt of payment. Refurbished boards and Artworks are guaranteed ONE year from the purchase date, for any defect or damage other than related to normal deterioration from riding, misuse, abuse or neglecting. Impacts from riding on non-snow surfaces such as rocks, logs, handrails, picnic tables, stairs, chairlifts, etc… are out of the scope of this warranty.

Repair and Service
Your satisfaction is our priority! If a defect is suspected, or any damage occurred within the expected range of use, send us a warranty claim with some photos and descriptions of the issue. Repairing or replacing any defective item is our responsibility, and our duty towards the environment! Note that we are not liable for related costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of this product.

Submit a warranty claim
Forward the photos of the suspected damage along with the descriptions of what happened to contact@baguetteboards.com. We will answer your request in the shortest delays.

Custom requests
The participant will acknowledge that deviations to the board and/or graphic renderings could occur, since working with wood, pigments and handworking consist in unique processes that can only be previewed. For custom drawings, it is acknowledged that sufficient time and freedom should be reserved for the artistic performance, to ensure a creativity space for the artist and achieve the best overall experience. 

Payment and Conditions

Encrypted payments
On this website, payment transactions (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are only made via encrypted SSL or TLS connections (https:// in your browser address line). With encrypted communication, any payment details you submit to us cannot be read by third parties. Stripe.com?

Deposit for custom shapes
After filling out our online custom form, you will receive a sketch of a board to be built. After validating your order via our website, the manufacturing process can start. The remaining amount is to be paid after completion of the manufacturing, following a short notice sent to you before the board can be sent. If the remaining amount has not been received three months following the payment notice, we keep the rights to dispose of the board newly built and keep the deposit to compensate for the consulting efforts.

The shipping of boards is included in our online offer if you live in the Alps! Usually 3-5 working days are required once your order is validated. For worldwide carriers, shipping fees and delays depend on your destination. International customers must pay applicable sales tax, import fees, duties and customs charges which are determined by your local government. Once your package received, inspect the goods. If you notice any damage, contact us immediately! Refused packages will be abandoned and will not be refunded. The boards are packed in our upcycled packaging carton boxes, and optimally fitted to secure a safe transportation until it reaches you.

Your satisfaction is our priority! You can return a purchased board or artwork within 14 days from the reception date. The item must be returned in same state and condition than received. If the item is in perfect resalable condition, you can send it back for a comparable exchange or store credit. The return shipping costs are at the charge of the participant. Withdrawal of the participant
Each participant has the right to withdraw from the contract at any time. In the event of immediate cancellation, 50% of the deposit will be retained for the consulting efforts. In the event of cancellation after the manufacturing has started, the deposit or initial fees will be kept to compensate for the work already performed.

Cancellation by the shaper
We reserve the right to cancel an ongoing project, terminate your use of the service or website for any objective reason. If no manufacturing effort related to an order has been involved, the deposit or initial fees can be reimbursed up to 50%, although the manufacturer do not have any liability for it. Likewise, the manufacturer is not liable to possible delays occurring in the manufacturing process or along the artistic performance. A clear communication will be held in an event of force majeure. 

Our website also offers payment via PayPal. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. If you select payment via PayPal, the payment data you enter will be transmitted to PayPal. The transmission of your data to PayPal is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time.

Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
