Why firmament?

Firmament is a word for the nightsky, the stars, the infinity. My firmament are the mountains. If you can’t touch the stars, the mountains get you closer. An old saying wises up “Mountain people are close to the earth, to the sky“… Firmament is whatever lays in between.

PurposeShapeConstructionArtworkTerrain

This shape is an attempt for the perfect all-arounder, the one snowboard to do it all. Solid carver on the slopes and playful freerider, the slightly directional shape allows you to ride it switch and stomp landings, whether you are in the park or in backcountry. The pin nose and tail shapes remind old school designs, and perfectly balance an epurated outline. The medium-stiff overall flex has a softer point right between your feet, to break the torsion and provide playfulness to this solid construction.
